Heat4Less 1500 Infrared Heater

Heat4Less 1500 Infrared Heater Review

Product Description

When looking for a new heater, you could do worse than settle on an infrared heater to do the job. Why’s that? Big savings on your electricity bill for one, plus you avoid that dry air you get with conventional heaters, as infrared heaters don’t evaporate the moisture in your air. Simple, right? Well, almost… the only thing is, there are a lot of infrared heaters on the market these days. So which one should you choose? One f the most popular at the moment is the Heat4Less 1500. Let’s look at it together!

What’s it like, then?

It’s contained within a black cabinet which weighs 22 pounds and measures 16 x 13 x 16 inches. Its power output is 1500 watts, which can heat a room of up to 1500 square feet. It can be operated by remote control for convenience, although there is a control and display panel fitted to the front of the cabinet.

How can it help me?

The Heat4Less 1500 is ideally suited to provide heat for your under-heated kitchens, bathrooms, bedroom and other mid-sized rooms. It’s lightweight and doesn’t take up much space, meaning that it can be placed on a bookshelf or other similar small surface without any risk of it falling off. This is also handy if you’re using it to keep yourself warm while working in an otherwise cold garage or workspace – you can sit it on a workbench or table and get on with your thing.

Is it any good?

This heater certainly packs a punch considering its size. Similar sized heaters struggle to heat a room of 1000 square feet. It’s nice and quiet, so if you are using it to keep warm while listening to the radio or chatting with a friend it won’t disturb you. It heats up quickly but there are no exposed elements so you don’t have to look out so much for younger family members or pets burning themselves on it.

Are there any bad points?

The design isn’t the most beautiful as the display and controls interfere with the homely cabinet design. Apart from that I don’t have any real complaints. I have heard a couple of people have had to send their heater away for repairs, though, so make sure this is something you have provision for when you buy. I’m not particularly bothered about the heater’s lack of beauty (in my opinion). I’ve seen quite a few of the top heaters at http://www.home-improvement.guru/ and this one is up there with the best.

Conclusion

I’ll give this the thumbs up for those of you who want a functional and convenient heater. If you’re looking for something pretty, this isn’t it (although you could always obscure view of it, it is so small after all). Amazon users seem pretty happy with it at the moment, too, having rated it at 4 stars out of a possible 5. Well, hopefully you’ve found this review to be helpful and you’re a step closer to being able to choose the right heater for you!
